Pharmacy serves locals with free health screenings, carnival

HIV, diabetes, and hypertension are just some of the major health problems running rampant in poor communities of color across the nation. On October 4, Oakland’s Apothecary Pharmacy responded by offering free health screenings against a festive backdrop at its Second Annual Health Carnival.
